This precision is ensured through meticulous manufacturing and calibration, which includes printing a unique pattern of dots on the sphere and photographing it from 100 angles. The data is then linked to the vPEN’s serial number and downloaded to the iCS50 during pairing, ensuring reliable, accurate results every time.

The vPEN is user-friendly and requires no buttons to operate. To take a measurement, position the vPEN and trigger the measurement via software or remote control. The vPEN can be held at any angle, as long as the instrument can see the sphere.
